Thanksgiving in Charlotte

We spent a glorious, long Thanksgiving weekend in Charlotte. Here's a quick recap of our holiday.

We have a little monkey on our hands and need to get this girl into gymnastics, pronto. Swing her, let her walk on an elevated "beam" or hang her upside down and she's happy as a clam.

And, in case gymnastics doesn't work out, we're hoping she has a future "tickling the ivories" (a phrase I've recently learned and am thrilled to work into a blog post).

Mat's carving techniques were to be admired.

These two furry friends couldn't get enough of each other and spent each evening thoroughly tuckered out at our feet.

Enjoying the sun and the last few warm days of fall, we made several trips to the playground and took a few hikes in the woods.
